Legal, privacy & cookies
Who operates this site, how it handles the little personal data it processes, and the terms on which it is provided.
This page covers the storrex.be website only: who runs it, how the site handles the personal data you choose to send, the cookies it may set, and the terms of use. The short version — this site collects almost nothing, sets no tracking cookies, and sells no data.
1. Who operates this site
This website is operated by STORREX bv, a besloten vennootschap (private limited company) incorporated under Belgian law.
- Registered office: Steenweg 130–202, 3890 Gingelom, Belgium.
- VAT / company number: BE 0883.625.656.
There is no published email address. Reach us through the contact form, or by post at the registered office above.
2. Privacy (GDPR)
The only personal data this website processes is what you choose to send through the contact form. STORREX bv is the controller for that data.
What we collect
When you use the contact form we process what you enter: your name, company, email address and your message, together with the page you sent it from. Nothing else about your visit is asked for.
Why, and the legal basis
We use it for one purpose: to read and answer your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and taking steps at your request prior to a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Where it is processed and stored
This site is served by Cloudflare Pages, and contact-form submissions are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV. Cloudflare acts as our processor. Like any web host, Cloudflare also processes connection data (such as IP addresses and requested URLs) to deliver the site and protect it against abuse, on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA over Cloudflare's global network, Cloudflare relies on recognised safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep a contact-form submission only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry, and delete it once the matter is closed. In any case, submissions are deleted automatically no later than 24 months after they are sent. We do not use them for marketing and we do not sell or rent them.
Anti-spam
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, running in invisible mode — it verifies in the background without showing you a puzzle. It is a privacy-preserving check and is not Google reCAPTCHA, which we rejected on privacy grounds. To tell people from bots, Cloudflare processes limited technical data for this purpose, as described in Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Analytics
If analytics are running on this site they are cookieless (Cloudflare Web Analytics): aggregate page-view counts with no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting for advertising, and no personal profiles. Analytics are only active when configured, and the site works exactly the same with them off.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you access to your personal data, to correct or erase it, to restrict or object to how we process it, and to receive it in a portable form. To exercise any of these, use the contact form or write to the registered office. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority — the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données — www.dataprotectionauthority.be, or with the supervisory authority where you live.
3. Cookies
This website's own code sets no tracking, advertising or marketing cookies— which is why there is no cookie banner. A small number of strictly functional cookies may be set by the platform that serves and protects the site.
What may be set
- Security and infrastructure (Cloudflare). The site is served and protected by Cloudflare, which may set strictly functional cookies (such as
__cf_bm) to detect bots and guard against abuse. These are security-essential, short-lived, and are not used to profile you. - Anti-spam (Cloudflare Turnstile). When you submit the contact form, Turnstile — running invisibly — may use similar functional storage to complete its human-verification check.
What is deliberately absent
- No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no social-media trackers.
- Any analytics we run are cookieless and store nothing on your device.
- No reCAPTCHA — we use Cloudflare Turnstile instead, on privacy grounds.
The site loads its fonts from its own server rather than a third-party font CDN, so viewing the site does not expose your IP address to a fonts provider. If we ever need a non-essential cookie, we will add a consent step first and update this notice.
